1989 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Additional Info:

1989 Mercedes 300E 2.6LUp for sale is my W124 Mercedes 300E. Higher mileage but with these W124s it is better to have a higher mile car which has been used more and taken care of.Paint in great condition, no sun fade, no clear coat failure. Mercedes made extremely high quality paint for the W124.Seats are in exceptional condition, no rips, tears etc. Very soft and comfortable. Still to this day the most comfortable seats I have sat in.This car is known in the car community as a 'Tank' due to its beautiful design but most importantly it's top tier build quality and heavy feel.On average 5000 miles a year since it's inception.Maintenance Record in our family's ownership:New Timing Chain & Gaskets - 2019New Air Filter - 2024New Cap, Rotor, Wires - March 2024New Front & Rear Brakes and Rotors - March 2024New Brake Lines - March 2024Air Conditioning converted to R-134a - August 2024New Fuel pumps, fuel pump regulator, fuel filters - Nov 2024Most Recent Oil & filter change - July 2025The car has had a lot of the possible fault points addressed. While it is an old car, I have loved to drive this car almost daily in my ownership, weather permitting. Being a 36 year old car, it comes with it's quirks; but it has really stood the test of time. It drives beautifully and never complains about anything.I have not come across a better example of an average spec classic W124 in the rust belt.
