Up for sale is a 1989 Mercedes 300E. Unknown mileage. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and years of experience working on vintage Euro imports and just finished resurrecting this car. The head is completely rebuilt with new guides, decked mating surface, all valves reseated, new top end gasket set and new torque to yield head bolts. Strong running car. Heat and air conditioning function very well. A/C has been converted to R134A. Sunroof is operational and does not leak. Automatic transmission. Clean title in hand. Very safe, heavy and comfortable car. Has good acceleration for its size. Power everything, leather interior. Decent amount of tread left on tires as well (see photos). Has some rust in areas on the car (see photos). Bosch mechanical fuel injection means as long as you drive every once in a while, it will run forever. Odometer does not work and is stuck at 120k-ish miles, Right rear window does not work, speedometer does not work. New coolant, new automatic transmission fluid, new spark plugs, new plug wires, recent distributor cap and button. Rides EXCELLENT on the interstate. Oil pressure is great as well. If it weren't for the recent work done on this car, it'd be listed for less. With the work done, this car has another couple hundred thousand miles in it. 7/10 visually, 10/10 mechanically.
