MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1948 Lincoln Continental “Restomod” Coupe. This is a 1940’s icon classic, ith modern day upgrades, ence the name “Restomod”. What is the difference between Restomod and restoration? Traditionally, utomotive restoration essentially refers to taking a collector car and bringing it back to life utilizing as many of the OEM parts as possible. A “Restomod goes on step further, y including modern drivetrain components. The process involves repair of the visible parts (e.g., ody trim, nterior, tc.), s well as the parts not easily seen (e.g., lectrical, uspension, rakes, tc.). The anticipated results of a Restomod, is a beautifully preserved automobile in factory-new condition with authentic parts just like it came off the showroom floor decades ago, tilizing modern drivetrains, ncreasing reliability, omfort and performance.

A “Restomod” 1946-1948 Lincoln is something seldom seen, ut makes great sense considering the large proportions and elegant design. This Lincoln is now powered by a Cadillac 429-cid V-8 with a 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission and has a limited slip rear end. It has been further enhanced with such amenities as modern climate control, ower windows, ower brakes and steering with tilt/telescopic wheel.. Less than 2,500 miles have been clocked since this car was completed and is now ready for many more.

Finished in a period correct Mint Green, he paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Both the front and rear bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body. Paint and body shows extremely well with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find. The interior continues the theme of the exterior with the dark green leather front split bench seats and rear bench seat and all look great with no major signs of wear visible wear. The door panels and dashboard are designed to match the exterior of the car and look fantastic.

These custom Lincolns are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well kept condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Be sure to check out our other Continentals, 1942 and another 1948!
