1967 Land Rover NADA 5 Door Station Wagon

1967 Land Rover 109 Series II Additional Info:

Number 719 of 811 made.

This is a body off the frame restoration, the body was professionally painted in base and clear coats in the original Pastel Green color. As you can see in the photos, it has some nicks and bumps, it’s not perfect, although it is a nice, running, driving, essentially complete 109.

Engine is the original 6 cylinder with Weslake head, professionally rebuilt by Ted Marsh. The gearbox was also professionally rebuilt including an Ashcroft high ratio transfer box.

Dash instruments were restored by Nisonger before the flood.

Windshield wiper motor, distributer and SU Carburettor were all professionally rebuilt

The generator and starter were professionally rebuilt by a certified Lucas technician.

All five doors are replacements and not original, they were too far gone to restore.

Front seats are mounted on the adjustable sliders.

Hydraulics have been replaced including master cylinders for both brake and clutch, reservoir, cutch slave cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders and brake pads.

Six wheels and tires, the wheels are a mixture of 231601’s and 272309’s, all have been chem-stripped and limestone powder coated, all six tires are Definity Dakota M/T 245.75.16.

The steering wheel has been restored by Gary’s in Pennsylvania.

The air distribution box shown in the pictures is included in the sale, it is not installed in the vehicle.

Door locks have keys and are functional.

The galvanized frame is from Richards Chassis in the UK.

The front apron shown in the photos is included in the sale, it has been weld repaired and needs to be painted.

The speedometer shows 81178 miles.

Nice things it has: The Mid row / Centre bench seat has been reupholstered and includes the latching hardware, squab bolt assemblies and new leather straps. Front Seats all have new leather retaining straps. Rear sliding side windows all have original latches.

The vehicle needs: There are no headliner or door cards installed or included with the sale. The paint on the roof is flaking in spots as you can see in the photos. There are no rear-view mirrors, both the front wings and front door hinges have mirror mounts. It needs a new set of tires, due to age not due to wear. The sliding window tracks on all windows need to be replaced. The air distribution box that is pictured is included in the sale but it is not installed and it will need a pair of demister hoses. The cable for adjusting the water temperature control valve is included in the sale but it is not installed.
