16 years owned, 1955 Land Rover Series 1 86” with station wagon door and roof, that I purchased from Dunsfold Land Rover in the UK and then personally imported. In 16 years I have put less than 1000 miles on the vehicle, with regular servicing and repair.The vehicle is titled in Minnesota on a clean title in my name.

The Land Rover drives well thanks to the 2.5 petrol Land Rover engine with Weber 32ICH carburetor, matted to the original 4 speed gearbox, comfortably keeping up with traffic. High/Low ratio transfer box and 4 wheel drive engaged easily.

The interior has been updated with new bench seats in the rear, seat belts in the front for safety and a center console cubby in the center with cup holders. Currently configured with 6 seats. Replacement Smiths heater works well, keeping the interior nice and warm. Interior can be cooled by opening vents located in top of firewall.

The aluminum body overall is in good condition, noting the paint is peeling in places, and there is a pop riveted panel added on the driver’s side fender top by a previous owner. You can get a replacement fender top, but I kept it as part of the vehicle history and patina.Firewall is in excellent condition.

There is green industrial like carpet installed on the door interiors and roof interior, that really helps to reduce the noise level in the interior and reduces heat in the summer when driving.

As can be seen from the photos included the chassis is in very good condition

A new Brake Master Cylinder from Dingcroft, brakes cylinders and brake shoes were fitted all around in last 50 miles.

New firewall top rail and windshield rubber just installed.

Vehicle and title will not be released until funds have been cleared by my bank.
