For sale is my 1969 Series 11A 88 inch Land Rover. I have owned this for years and have worked on a complete restoration. This 11A has had complete mechanical overhaul. I started with a new hot dipped galvanized chassis. With that starting point every mechanical component except the transmission was rebuilt. The engine was overhauled by a local shop. The radiator was re-cored. The high output generator was rebuilt. An entirely new brake system was installed featuring new brake cylinders, brake booster, steel brake lines and flex hoses. A new gas tank was installed along with new shocks and leaf springs. The axle differentials were rebuilt by Rovers North. New swivel balls with gaiters were installed. And more. I have all the receipts for this work.
I started to lose interest when I got to the body. However, the firewall was rebuilt with new hing panels welded in. New doors were installed and fit and shut well.
