1985 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

Somewhere between a mean trail machine and cool boulevard cruiser lies this 1985 Jeep CJ7 Renegade. With golden paint, plenty of chrome, and overall rugged 4x4 prowess, this icon can truly do everything and fit in anywhere.
The factory-correct Dark Honey Metallic is a cool color to have on a Jeep. After all, these love nature, and this looks like it could be camouflaged by golden plains of wheat. But since the CJ7 is also a true classic that is used just for a cruiser, we think the gold also gets the kind of extra attention you want in a classic. And since you have this duality of both function and flair, we like that the finish has a nice metallic glow without getting too "glam" for the trails. More of this shiny-but-sturdy attitude is seen in the polished pieces like the upgraded tubular front bumpers, an iconic grille, tubular side steps, and bright wheels. And the nice finishing touch is the premium Renegade decal package that makes the whole CJ look like a California sunset.
We often see black interiors on Jeeps, which is quite attractive. But for this color package, we are particularly happy to see the full tan interior that harmonizes so well with the exterior color theme. A later CJ like this means nice features like high-back bucket seats, and front shoulder belts mounted to the roll bar. You'll appreciate some nice comfort details, like the well-fitting bikini top, full carpeting, cup holder center console, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and a remote.
Under the hood is the correct 258 cubic-inch inline-six motor. It's a long-established powerplant for Jeep that has proven its reliability and continues to have easy parts availability. This one even has nice newer details like the carb and aluminum radiator. It's a torque-filled powerhouse that goes well with the two-speed transfer case and BE Goodrich All-Terrain T/As to deliver the right 4x4 prowess. The power steering, power brakes, and front discs are nice anytime-driving features. And the five-speed manual transmission is about giving you good control no matter if you want low-end torque for the trails or a little extra get-up-and-go in town.
Nice features and a terrific color combo deliver an awesome way to enjoy a 4x4 icon. Call today!!!
