1988 Jeep Cherokee Limited Sport Utility 4-Door Additional Info:

Up for sale is my rare 1988 Jeep Cherokee XJ with only 128,xxx miles. This Jeep is a 2 owner vehicle, the second owner bought it from a dealer in 1992.
This Jeep in NJ is available to have QQ historic plates and is inspection exempt!
Positives:
Transmission recently rebuilt!
Valve cover gasket done
Mechanically perfect condition as this was mechanic owned. Previous owner had a lift in his garage!
Newer battery from NAPA.
Newer windshield put in
Runs and drives fine!
Solid floor and underbody
Negatives:
Needs radiator - obvious leak when running
Weather stripping is rotted and should be replaced on certain doors
Needs rear gate gas shocks
Rear bumper fell off and front bumper was replaced with wooden bumper due to accident.
Everything else on the Jeep should be fine.
This is a very old vehicle however all the parts for this vehicle are made aftermarket and easily sourceable. I have rescued this jeep from sitting for 2 years! It needs a cleaning and detailing but I was able to jumpstart it and drive it up the flatbed to take it home!
This is also a rare find! 1988 with only 128k miles! There is still plenty of life left.
