For sale is my 1976 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. ( V8 360 - 5.9 L 2bb carb) The best way to experiencea Jeep is with a manual transmission and this has a4 speed manual transmission. This Jeep runs and drivesand is fully insured.I purchased this Jeep from a family who owned it for over 30 years in upstate new York. The old manmostly drove it around town and on his 50 acre property to collect firewood. I will list some of the maintenance that has been done over the years:new clutch $950, 4 new tires $800. new water pump, distributor,starter, timing chain,rebuilt carb,new hoses, radiator flush, new battery, tune-up plugs-cap - wires etc. two new front leaf springs and some frontend work . The gas tankwas removed and professionally resealed on the inside. Headlights, driving lights turn signals, fan, heat, dashboard lights work.This is still a project that need work to be street lega, but you have a good start. As you can see form the pictures it needs body work and rust repair.On the internet you can buy quarter panels for$100 each. The previousownerremoved the tailgate a long tine ago and I purchased a replacement for $50, not installedand 2ndroll up tailgate for parts.Engine runs fine but fromwhat I can tell needsrear main seal. Windshield needs replacement and interior restoration - carpet etc- see pictures.I have some extra parts - shop manuals - original paper work -If you are handy this is the project for you!!Cherokees restored command a big price- I recommend youcheck it out before you buy.If youhave any questions email me your number and I will call you.Thanks for looking- sold as is.
