1980 Jeep Comanche Additional Info:
ThisMAN CHEE is a toy being sold as a toy which is as is. I have owned this Jeep for about 6 years. I have had lots of fun in this Jeep. It will climb and articulate very well. 4 link in the rear and 3 link in the front. The suspension uses ROD ENDS that are very strong, ut does make for a bit more noise in the suspension (no rubber cushioning). King coil over shocks in all 4 corners (I believe 14" travel). There is an old tractor fuel tank mounted in the bed. The battery is also mounted in a custom stainless box in the bed. There is a new radiator with electric fans (2) that was installed early 2015. On really hot days (95 degree or more) the engine runs hotter than normal. I have been considering putting louvers in the hood. If you look at the picture of the engine compartment, ou can see how packed in it is and air just doesn't move real well. I use this Jeep off road only. As you can see in the picture of the Jeep sitting high on the sand bar, t gets me where I want to go. The tires (38.5" Boggers) are nearly new and the wheels came off of a late model Chevy. Nearly $2000 just in tires and wheels. Dana 44 front and a Corp 14 Rear (Lincoln Locked Rear) 4.88 gears. As all off road vehicles should, his one has a good working winch with a remote pendant. Ask me how I know that it works well :)
As they say, t's no show car but it sure is
FUN FUN FUN
I have never washed this Jeep. The water holes and rain are the only car washes it has been through since I have had it.
Clear Title and street legalI did not have the actual VIN number with me when I posted this, ut I can provide it to you
