This truck was purchased in Texas in1991 lived there for two years and spent the rest of its life in Rust free Nevada ( according to CarFax ) also never been in a accident. My son and I purchased this at a auction in 2013 because of the no real body damage and all the body lines were straight and correct. The first month it went to a local shop replaced the power steering pump and fuel pump as well as tune up andgot it driving. The next few months consisted of getting over to 4 Wheel Parts and having them install a 3" Rubicon express lift kit .With new Shackles and heavy duty adjustable track bar. Body and paint took several months including custom mounts for push bar heavy duty but easy and quick to remove.ByJune 2014it was a good looking driver and after using itfor about a two years we have decided to sell it. So we finished the truck this month with a newly rebuilt engine, new AC 134 system, all new pump, dryer, lines and condenser along with starter motor, newly rebuilt seat and applied a Hurculiner coating to the back of the bed.
The tires on the truck are in good condition but we are including, if you want a set of four chrome rims in great shape balanced and ready to bolt on. With tires legal tread but probably only get a thousand miles or so out of them( see photo). Also if you want the engine that came out "block, head and oil pan no manifolds or bolt ons" you can have i, it did still run but had either some Piston slap or bearing slop. I would think could get the engine and rims and tires all in the back of the truck.
The list of parts changed includes power steering pump, fuel pump, starter motor, alternator, water pump, timing chain and gears, harmonic balance, all Ac components except evaporator ( held vacuumfor over a hour ) along with the engine components pistons rings bearings, bored 20 over lifters etc..and not to forget the gauge column withJeeptemp and volt gaugesand a no start security system. I am sure I left things out please send any questions or request more photos.
From 2013 to now we put on 28,000 miles on this Jeep( new enginehas under 500 miles currently ) and has been a reliable eye catching truck which should be good to go for years to come with minimal attention other than regular maintenance.Low reserve set.
