1963 Jaguar Other Additional Info:

I couldn't decide whether to do a short ad or a long descriptive ad, so I did both:
Short Ad: 1963 Jaguar Mark 2. Excellent running, driving car that has been garaged for many years. New leather seats, 4 speed with overdrive, partial original paint, Dayton bolt-on 60 spoke wire wheels, many, many hours of detail work put into bringing this classic car back into daily-driver condition. It is over 60 years old, so obviously shows signs of wear, but has had many items attended to by an old retired car guy (me).
(if you think you might be interested in this car and want more info, then read more below).
Long Ad: 1963 Jauguar Mark 2. For sale is a very original, nicely optioned Mark 2 4 speed numbers-matching classic.

  • 4 wheel disc brakes

This car was owned by a Navy doctor near Seattle, who, for many years kept this garaged and passed away about 10 years ago. It has not been licensed since 1979! I purchased it 6 years ago and have been tinkering with it since. It is now ready to move on to it's next owner to enjoy for many years to come.

Conclusion: This is a very unique and desirable British classic car. However, it is over 60 years old. I have tried to fairly describe its good, bad and otherwise features, but probably have missed some things. It starts and drives nicely, will do highway speeds, and gets lots of looks wherever it goes. If you have always wanted one of these, this may be the best one you will find for under $30k.
Bidding: Please contact me to ask questions. Please arrange a third-party inspection or come see the car in person. Please do not bid if you have not talked to your wife about this yet!! Happy bidding, and good luck! ---Doug
