1960 International Harvester B100 B112 Additional Info:

For sale, 1960 International Harvester B100 old farm truck. Comes with original bill of sale and line ticket. Originally bought in IL, it lived in southern IA where it was a seed corn hauler twice a year. The truck has very little rust and the frame is excellent. The bed is a Knapheide made in Quincy, IL, it was originally installed at the purchase of the truck, I have replaced the wood with 2" rough sawn red oak. The serial # SB117938A and engine # BD-240-702768 are factory original and matching. The truck runs great, it starts every spring when I get it out of the barn and is fun to drive. It has 10 ply tires so its a little rough and bumpy until they heat up, tires are almost new. BD240 engine has been completely rebuilt and has 3 new pistons installed, the head has been professionally rebuild with hardened valve seats installed. the front brakes are new, rear are good, all drums are in good shape and will last a long time. I replaced the original spring stacks on all 4 wheels with Chevy 3/4 ton springs for extra carry capacity. The transmission is a T92 4 speed, very low geared, recommended for 55mph top but will go faster, I have driven this truck for 200 miles at a time and it was always reliable. The seat was reupholstered last year and I rebuilt a new dash for it because I had an extra one. The cab has very little rust and everything on the bottom looks great, I have lots of photos. The radiator has been rebuilt, never leaks or uses fluid. I have all the chrome and name tags that go on the fenders, just haven't installed them. Now for the bad: It was painted once but that is faded and very poorly done, at least it kept it from rusting. There is a ground fault short in the left turn signal that I have not tracked down, I have a new turn signal switch for it. The passenger side door glass is cracked, and the doors don't shut well. I have extra parts that go with the truck such as an extra wing, headlight bezels, a craftsman engine analyzer to keep it tuned, and a dome light. The truck is in operational condition, headlights and brake lights work, all except for the left turn signal. The options are a heater that works very well, Ebay would not let me list that individually. Please contact me for any specific questions or photos of particular areas.
