Vehicle Details

T'all "grew up" in the mountains/high desert of California..... very dry climate. Has none of the traditional rust associated with midwest/south/eastern parts of USA (or coastal regions of California for that matter). It may have some minor surface rust on frame, no body cancer though. Car was painted once by previous owner (not fancy but looks alright). It is covered up in my "show/storage" garage in the mountains (climate controlled at about 55 degrees year round) Engine bay is 52 year old engine compartment, not fancy. Blue air cleaner, on good functioning carb, strong engine. It runs the the materials down for our Veterans Day Ceremon twice a year. I wish I would have had a day to get it out on the road and burn out the congestion in the engine --- it needs a good run, but it fires right up and is ready to go. The photos tell the story.. the 345 ci engine was bored out so it is more like 390 ci now. Has posi-traction. Note new carpet and rear cargo area was spruced up to "show" when in local car shows (original owner was prominent artist, used it as a mobile studio). Has new headliner and windshield. Heater had leak, was disconnected. Engine strong with electronic ignition. 3 spd AT is ok, has a slight slip into third gear. Runs down road straight and true (alignment). Brakes probably need new master cyl. Rear motor for tailgate window needs fixing/replacing. Did I say new tires and wheels.
