This is a really nice original scout 2 that runs and drives, and stops. It has working headlights, and 2 speed wipers with wiper park. The turn signals and hazards work. The brake lights and dim/bright lights work and It has working seat belts. One of the cool things about the Scout isIt has spent most, if not all of its years in the south away from the salt and rust up north. The body appears to be in great shape (see pics for condition). All the gears work on the transmission and has stick operated transfer case featuring Hi/low 2wd and 4wd and it all works like it should. The charging system also works like it should to keep the battery charged.

This Scout starts right up, runs, drives and stops with good response and pep for an old scout. The truck comes with a horn that works like it should by pushing the original horn button (this is pretty rare). The Interior has ALL NEW factory style seat upholstery and also a brand new carpet. The truck is well built from the factory with a Dana 44 axle and comes with high-end Goodyear Wrangler tires that are in excellent condition with less than 500 miles on them in the correct factory size 235/75/15. This scout has the big V8, 345 cubic inch motor and Tilt steering wheel . It also has the single stick Dana 20 transfer case. This scout has the highly desirable, Factory A/C option with all the components still intact including the under-dash and compressor in unknown condition. it also has the cool factory roof rack and original hubcaps in excellent condition. Also factory equipped is working power steering and working power brakes with disk front brakes and rear drum that also work great.

This is a CONVERTIBLE TRUCK !! The top comes completely off for an open-air drive or beach cruise! The last few photos are of the undercarriage, and the rockers which are in great shape (Usually these areas are rusted to bits, especially up north in the snow)
