This is a really nice example of an original scout 2 that runs and drives, stops and turns. It has working headlights, 2 speed wipers and even the horn works. It has lap-belts as well. The top is steel (not fiberglass) and has the roof rack option.. It has spent most, if not all of its years in Texas away from the salt and rust up north. body appears to be in great shape including body mounts (see pics). All the gears work on the transmission and has stick operated transfer case featuring Hi/low 2wd and 4wd. Odometer is showing 3659, miles. I could not tell you if they are original miles but it is more likely 13659 (there is not hundred thousand place on classic cars like this)This scout starts, runs, drives and stops with good response and pep for an old scout. The truck comes equipped with power disk brakes, power-tilt steering with a working original horn button (this is pretty rare). This truck has power disk brakes in front and drums in the rear. The Interior has ALL NEW factory style seat upholstery front and rear and also a brand new factory correct full carpet kit!!! The truck is well built from the factory with Dana 44 axles in the front and rear and brand new 31/10.5/15 tires. This scout has the V8, 304 cubic inch motor recently replaced exhaust that sounds great while not being too loud. . It also has torqueflite 727 automatic transmission and Dana 20 transfer case and came equipped with the scout A/C system(currently non- working) The scout also has a new key and cylinder for the liftgate and also The original jack, rod and lug wrench. This is a CONVERTIBLE TRUCK !! The steel top comes completely off for an open-air drive or beach cruise! The last few photos are of the undercarriage, body supports and the left and right rockers(Usually these areas are rusted to bits, especially up north in the snow) Please click the link for startup, driving, walk around and more details

This is not a show truck, it has some imperfections in the paint, possible blemishes, dings and may need final tuning to get it to the way you like it. The car is almost 50 years old, it will not drive, or look like a new Honda. I have driven it down the street and to the gas station several times to test things out. it always gets attention whenever I have it out.
