1978 International Harvester Scout Additional Info:

Resisted due to lack of follow through of first buyer------- This is one of the nicest Scouts I have driven. IHCS is selling it for a local customer. He bought the Scout in 2005 from the original owners grandson. Scout was originally sold by Barrett Brothers in Albany Oregon. Paint has been touched up but not a full repaint. Lots of original patina left. New weather stripping around doors and top. Original 304 is running great with just over 139k on the odometer. Wide ratio 4 spd shifts smooth. Rolls right down the road with 3.07 gears in the Dana 44s. Newer Cooper SST 31x10.50x15L tires on body color wheels. Front seats are out of a Silverado pick up with the integrated seatbelt. New brake master cyl and alternator. Inside has been sprayed with body color bedlinen. This truck runs and drives awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to hop in it and drive it across the country.
