1953 GMC 100-22 Additional Info:
Up for sale is a beautiful 1953 GMC Short Bed Pickup. Every nut and bolt on this truck is new. Has a very rare 4 speed hydromatic transmission. 53 was the first year for the hydromatic in the GMC, that same year the transmission plant burned down and only a few were made in 1953, startes back after plant was replaced in 1954 so this is a rare model. The engine is a GMC 302 engine that I found brand new never used, been in crate for 65 years, it was a complete engine never been run before. I put a aluminum valve cover and a nixson split header and a holley 2300 two barell carb and ended up with the best running truck in the country. Has new Coker wide white tires. Has a new Brass Thomas radiator. Over $12000.00 in chrome work But the most beautiful part of this truck is the Black Walnut wood bed and stainless strips.Been finished about 2 years and drove less than 200 miles. Don't think you will find another GMC like this one.Welcome to come look or send a representative to look. You may also contact me for information and to answer any questions. I have seen lesser trucks listed for almost twicw the price.
