1985 GMC Sierra 1500 Sierra Classic Additional Info:
Hard to find 1985 GMC 1500 Shortbed 2WD Sierra Classic
Solid. Project-Worthy. Daily Driver. Shop Truck.
350 Crate Motor. 350 Turbo Transmission. Both are solid and perform well.Exhaust sounds really good.
Original Rochester Quadrajet 4BBL. The truck runs and drives excellent. Stored in my garage at home for trips to the hardware store, it's easily a daily driver just as it is.
Factory PS, PB, PW, PL, AC, Tilt Wheel, Clock and Original 4 Speaker AM/FM Stereo.
All gauges work, including Fuel, Speedometer, Voltmeter, Temp, Oil Pressure, Clock, Horn, Turn Signals, High Beams, even the Delayed Wipers. Factory Stereo and speakers still sound good.
Nice rallye wheels with matching tires.
Dual fuel tanks (I only use one the driver's side tank, so not sure of the condition of the other). I use only ethanol-free fuel in this truck.
Great patina...cab corners have tiny holes, but the rest of the rust is surface only, including the rockers. Cab floor, truck bed, frame, components, etc are all solid.
Original chrome bumpers. All sheet metal is original. Original windshield. Original tire jack.Truck has never been in an accident.Even the original brushed aluminum tailgate bezel is in excellent condition.
Body is straight, solid and dent-free. Tan primer coat.
DJM lowering kit...approximately 2-3" in front and 3-4" in rear.
Original Spindles and Brackets are included.
New Carpet Kit, Dash, Driver Window Motor, Shocks, Front Rotors and Pads, Power Steering High-Pressure Line, Radiator, AC Delco Water Pump, Thermostat. Seat is in good shape. Passenger-side window motors works, but is slow.
Factory AC is not working, but it is all there.
Rear Drum replacement recommended.
Passed NC Safety Inspection in May, 2017.
This is a solid daily driver and a great project truck. Use it as either a daily driver, project truck or both. This is a Charlotte, NC truck and has not been exposed to snow, salt, etc.
Hard to find a solid, daily-driver, project-worthy square body 1/2 ton Chevy/GMC at this price.
