1929 Ford Model A Roadster Additional Info:
For sale is a project car that I dont have time to finish. It comes with many of the parts needed to finish it, but not all of them. From the pictures you can see what I have for the car. I also have an original seat that we think is from a '28,'29 but we are not sure. Also have some dash parts not pictured that will go with the car. What we have here is a restored '30 frame. There has been a ton of cash put into this particular chassis. The frame was blasted and painted in heavy duty undercarriage paint. There is an old repair at the back of the frame that looks sturdy. All the suspension parts shown were gone through and restored. Will need shock arms up front and full shocks in back if thats the way you want to go. The rear was rebuilt. Axles were restored. Fresh '40 steel wheels and new traditional tires. The brakes are all new, using top of the line parts. Parts alone cost over $1,000. They are mechanical brakes. You will need to final tweak them. The original 3-speed transmission was rebuilt to stock specs. The motor has been totally rebuilt, down to the babbits. Has a Model B cam in it. I also have another side cover without the oil adapter. Has not been fired. Cowl section is in excellent shape. Everything but the lower side panels are original Henry Ford steel. The tank was cleaned out, boiled and sealed. Its ready to go. Body panels are made up of Henry Ford steel originals with patch panels included. Doors are one Brookville in excellent shape, and an other original one. Trunk lid is original. Other pieces included are Brookville. Complete new subframe already built and primed as shown. Exhaust system is original style in stainless I believe and was not cheap. Radiator looks to be in excellent shape. Running boards as shown. Also have the whiskers for full fenders. No fenders! If its not shown (except for seats and dash bezel) its not included. If car hits reserve I have other parts that can be purchased. Ive spent the last two years collecting parts for this ride. Ive spent upwards of $12k already on this ride. If you know these cars you know that a good rebuilt engine can run you $3500 alone. Add in trans and rear rebuild and your already at $7k. Here you've got the rolling chassis and body ready for your fall/winter build. Traditional hot rod all the way. Car is located in Neptune, NJ. Buyers are responsible for shipping. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end by Paypal. Clear NJ title! Car rolls. Bring your trailer.
