For sale is a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door sedan. The car is an original surviver. Only 42,630 miles. The car was driven a little in the 60’s and 70’s and then sat in storage for 30 years. The original upholstery is in nice shape, the car had a little rocker panel rust repaired and was freshly repainted in it's original color in June 2016. All of the chrome is very nice with no pitting. The 223 ci “mileage-maker” straight six runs well and has a new Pertronix pointless ignition. The carburetor has been freshly rebuilt. The air cleaner and valve covers were repainted and the oil pan was dropped and cleaned. The three on the tree manual transmission shifts very smoothly, the brakes work as they should, and the steering is tight. It has all new shocks and the tires are all good. The interior is very clean, all lights and gauges work as they should. A SW oil pressure gauge and an FM radio converter have been added. It had seat belts added in the past but curiously was not ordered with exterior mirrors. They are an easy add on.
