1963 Ford Galaxie XL Additional Info:

For sale is my 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500XL 2 dr. hardtop. I bought the car with all intentions of keeping it because it had all the right equipment (Air cond., 4 speed, Pr. steering and brakes, and bucker seats). Unfortunately, after I had the car shipped home and went for a test drive I knew I couldn't keep the car. When I tried to shift gears my knee would hit the steering wheel and the window crank making it extremely difficult to shift gears. I quickly came to the conclusion that it would be dangerous for me to drive it. So I am putting it up for sale and will look for one with an automatic transmisson. The car is in really great condition with NO RUST. The stainless is very nice. The bumpers aren't too bad but could probably stand to be rechromed. Interior is nice with no rips or splits. It has the original spare tire, jack and hold down clamp. Tires are good (about 70-80% tread). All glass is good. The car drives down the road really, really well with plenty of power. I wish I could keep the car but I unfortunately cannot because I just am not comfortable driving it. Inspections are encouraged and advised, just call for an appt.
