Cut-outs of both articles havebeen framed and additional original magazines are included as well as all ofthe original parts that have been upgraded except for the tires.
My NASCAR-inspired 1966 Ford Fairlane was builtby Charlie Libby in 2003 and was updated in 2023 with new brakes, new tires, fluid changes, serpentine belt adjustments, new finned aluminum air cleaner, new Optima battery, new LED halo headlights with daytime running lights and aPioneer Bluetooth stereo with wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Poweris from a 392ci Windsor-based stroker V8 crate motor (460HP and 450Lb Torque) pairedwith a Richmond six-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear axle with4.11:1 gears from the Craftsman Truck Series. Features include a custom-builtperimeter chassis with rear trailing arms and a Panhard bar, a NASCAR-style14:1 Sweet steering box, adjustable HAL and QA1 coil over suspension, custommade 17x11″ Wheel Vintiques Magnum wheels with 315/35 Toyo Proxy radials, and Wilwoodsix-piston front and four-piston rear power-assisted calipers with 13″ slottedrotors as well as air conditioning, a 10-point roll cage. Engine upgradesconsist of a Peterson dry sump oil system, an Edelbrock single-plane intakemanifold, a Comp Cams camshaft, a Barry Grant carburetor, a Ford Racing billetelectronic distributor, and GT40X aluminum cylinder heads. A custom 3″ dualexhaust system with Spintech mufflers is installed.
The car was refinished in Dupont Vivid Canaryin 2003 by Squirted by Coop in Concord, North Carolina. Features include flaredwheel arches, powder coated trim and bumpers, billet “Stroker” badges, stackedvertical headlamps, dual mirrors, and oval-tipped exhaust finishers that exitbelow the rear bumper. The paint has a couple of small chips that have beenrepaired and an almost unnoticeable door ding but overall the paint still shows“almost as new” Very deep, shiny, and great quality. This car has been stored indoors and taken care of all of itslife. I bought it from the third owner in New Mexico.
The cabin features bolstered bucket seatssourced from a Hyundai Tiburon that were reupholstered in brown leather by HotRod Interiors by Chuck in Mooresville, North Carolina. The leather-wrapped billet steering wheel ismounted to a tilt column and frames an Autometer 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 4236 miles, 200of which have been added by me. The car runs and drives great, is titled in my name and owned free and clear. It is availableto see and drive in person. Please contact me through eBay if you would likemore photos and videos. As far as comps, two 1966 Fairlanes have sold on thatother auction site for $90K and $92K in the last year, neither of which were ina magazine. I listed a different car on eBay recently and then sold it for morethan my asking price on the other site. Here is your opportunity to get this carnow for an amazing price. The car is advertised locally and the auction will betaken down once it is sold.
