1968 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
This 1968 Mustang Coupe has 289 emblem, but was replaced with a 302 engine. It also has an automatic and factory air conditioning. Interior color is Ivy Gold.
This was special ordered by a dealer for his son in CA, so there is no paint code on the tag (DSO on the tag). My wife's Father then purchased this back in 1975 in CA (have receipt) and the exterior color was a dark green back then. It was given to my wife in 1986, painted white, and she used it as her daily driver. She moved from CA to the East Coast in 1999, and the Mustang was taken off the road in 2000, because of new car. It has sat stored since and has some rust, but nothing terrible that I can find, but does need panel work. We still have various repair receipts from over the years. I added a new fuel tank with new sending unit, fuel pump, fuel and air filters, rebuilt the carb, changed oil and oil filter, and ran a temporary fuel hose from the tank to the fuel pump (fuel lines needs to be replaced) and have it running and driving, but is not road worthy without more work like new brakes, so towing would be advised.
