1968 Ford Mustang Gold Additional Info:

• Marti Report indicates that this was 1 OF ONLY 18 SPECIAL PAINT + TRIM CODE orders for a VIP. (out of 317,404 units in 1968.) VERY RARE!Car chasers - this is the one!
• Kansas City Ordering District under paint or tire order #0118 - Scheduled April 1st 1968!
• Rare 68 gold on gold (Genuine) Mustang GT has air conditioning and power roof, power disk brakes, power steering.
• The original 302 V8 has 65,000 miles. It was stroked to 347 at 63000 miles at a cost of $5,154.48 (labor) by Nascar engine builder Scott Noel.
• Aluminum radiator with modern 2 blade electric fan kicks in and cools this car down on the highway - very reliable.
• Upgraded springs and Konis all round make it handle like a Shelby car.
• Rebuild included Forged rods, New performance flow manifold. This 347 has a nice fast cam - but not rough. Sounds like a big block through the big bore exhaust system.
• Has a nice (newer) top with a folding glass rear window. Nice new roof liner. Top is hardly used. No holes and waterproof!
• It gives 400hp. Electronic (Multiple Spark Discharge) ignition MSD 6AL, Headers, Holly, Upgraded T4Transmissionwith manual throttle body
• New T4 high spec transmission is fitted + performance torque converter. Original (works fine) tranny is also included.
• Has New stainless ventilated disc brakes - New pistons, New pads and New drums on rear.
• Paint looks original. The car has no rust anywhere. A few chips in the paint are all I could find. (photographed) No dings. No accident history.
• Sold with mint Ford Mustang GT steel wheels + tires. New windshield with blue graduated tint on top quarter.
• This belonged to a Nam vet who died in the field. Car was bought from his family by the second owner. (I am the third owner since 2004.) Great provenance. Lots of paperwork.
• Please note the underside / engine and header work - before the aluminum radiator was fitted.
• Yes I have the original steering wheel, valve covers, shocks, transmission, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold
