GRANDMA'S 1956 FORD THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE PROJECT

You are bidding on Grandma's Tennessee barn found 1956 Ford Thunderbird convertible that she purchased in 1966, Same owner 54 years, Originally a V8 312ci 4bbl car, Factory body colors were fiesta red and colonial white with red and white vinyl interior (See data plate information decoded below), She drove and enjoyed this car for many years before her husband who was a factory worker for Mopar/Direct Connection installed a "high performance" 440ci Chrysler engine with a 4 speed transmission, It was really supposed to be a runner back in it's day however all I know is the cool stories she shared with me, This car has recently been brought out of a long term storage therefore it is not running at this time and I do not know anything about the internals of the engine or transmission, The body is solid and in very good condition to be 64 years old, The frame is solid as well, There is some undercarriage/floorpan rust pictured very repairable or replaceable, Dash and interior are nice and clean, This has been a southern bird it's entire life, Never up and down salty roads or subjected to salty climates, The chrome and glass still present very well, All of the glass is good with the exception of the drivers side door glass which is cracked, Tires are old and the brakes do not work, No convertible or hardtop included, Some parts were removed from the car including the radiator which is in the trunk, What you see is what you get,Overall a cool father/son/daughter fixer-upper to tinker with and drive as is? Restomod? Restore back as original?
