1956 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:
1956 Ford Thunderbird Solid Project Car - This car was just removed from a indoor warehouse were it was stored for the past 45 years ( I have pictures of the car in the warehouse covered with dust). I have about 50 pictures of this car. Ebay would only let me put 24 in this listing. I have pictures of all of the parts that are included. Pictures of the underside and frame. Pictures of the dash area. Pictures of the trunk etc. etc. I can send more pictures of this car through Ebay. This car has been completely inventoried and is 98% complete. The only things missing are: 1 wheel skirt, the original radio and the continental kit (which was removed off of this car many years ago and a 1955 rear bumper was installed). The car has never been hit and does not have any accident damage. There are a few rust bubbles in the lower section of the trunk lid but it is very minor and fixable. The drivers side rocker has a few minor rust bubbles in it but there is an NOS Vintage Ford original replacement rocker panel that is included with the car. Trunk is 100% solid. Floors are 98% solid. Both front floors have a few very small holes in the toe boards (2 or 3 holes the size of a silver dollar). This car has never been hit and only needs some very minor work done to the left rear quarter panel (a couple of light dents) and the left front fender that has a few dents in it. I have the original bumpers which are in good used condition. This car was lightly taken apart in the late 1970's and has been stored inside in a warehouse since then. The frame is super clean and rust free. The body only has the rust that I have previouslymentionedwhich is very minor.Everything missing in these pictures I have (dash, gauges, tach, clock switches etc). This car was originally a 312 automatic car. It has a 292 in it now which has all of the original T-Bird only engine parts on it and was running back in the late 1970's when the car was put in storage. I have turned the 292 over by hand and it is not stuck or broken. I also have a correct 312 that goes with the car. The transmission and rear end are the original pieces that the car was born with. This car would be an excellent car to build. It is an original black car with black interior. The paint on this car is at least 45 years old and it might be original but I can't tell for sure. The car has 1 top with it, which is the Hardtop. You just do not find Thunderbirds in this condition anymore to build. This car would be an easy car to restore back to original or some type of resto mod type of project.Clear Florida Title in my name. For more info Curtis 81, seven three tw, 606 eight.
