1955 Ford F-350 Additional Info:

1955 Ford F-350 custom cab. I’m actually on the fence about selling this old truck as it’s been in the family for quite some time. hasn’t seen much use in the last two or three years but it always starts right up. The Engine is the original 239, that runs well, in fact It’s so quiet when idling it easy to forget that it’s even running at all. still six volt and I’m fairly sure the generator is due for a rebuild as I don’t believe it is fully charging the battery but I suppose it could also be the voltage regulator.And as you can tell from some of the photos it’s pulled some interesting loads over the years from near and far. With a days worth of work I wouldn’t hesitate driving it a couple hundred miles though you need to be in no great rush as it has 5:14 gearing in the original Timken rear end, It tops out at about 55 miles an hour. bed is a 9 foot box but it needs a full rebuild with some Metal work/fabrication to be functional once again.interestingly it has a dealer installed dump that is still operational. I’ll add more info in the next few days as I recall it.
