1979 Ford F-350 Crew cab 4 door Additional Info:
This is a 1979 Ford F-250 sitting on a 1990 f-350 4x4 frame. It has a Dana 60 kingpin front axle and Dana 80 rear axle with disk brakes. There is NO MOTOR in this. It is setup for a 5.9L cummins. It has an Allison transmission, 205 transfercase and a gear vendor over drive. This was being built as my dream truck but my ideas have changed. The motor pictured I AM KEEPING for my other project. This truck has most everything to finish build. Factory tilt with cruise control, air conditioning, and after market power windows and locks. Has new seats with tv's in headrests of front seats. This crew cab is by far the nicest I have seen. It was stripped to bare metal under floor and sprayed with bedliner so it will never rust from underneath. The crossmember and transmission were removed with motor and will be in the bed so it's not hanging without motor on transport. The bed will be filled with all the parts and spare parts I got for it. This truck I drove in my shop 8 years ago as a 2 wheel drive. This truck has remained in doors over this time till I pulled it out for pictures. Prior to me buying it. An 80 year old man had it hooked to a trailer that towed and equipment to church every Sunday where the truck and trailer were also both parked in doors. There is zero rust in floor or drip rails. ( I have owned 11 old crew cabs) I know what to look for. I built this with a wide stance to haul a huge camper and be stable on 39" tires. I did put the cutouts on it to keep the lift minimal with big tires also for stability. It is also setup with 4 wheel airbags and leveling valves so as it leans the valve will add air to that side and drain air from opposite side. I will be adding more as I think of it. All questions sent by messages will be answered on this post so I don't answer many of the same questions over and over. There will not be a buy it now so don't ask. It will go to the highest bidder. Happy bidding
