1968 Ford Ranchero -- Additional Info:
Can't decide between a muscle car and a cool vintage truck? No problem. You can have them both in this 1968 Ford Ranchero. Not only does it have an enhanced V8, but there are also nice extras, like a custom interior with air conditioning. And it's all offered for an affordable price.
The Ranchero was born out of the idea of having one vehicle that could go to church on Sunday and run a bale of hay into the fields on Monday. But by 1968 something else had happened. The extra power going into the muscle cars were finding their way into these utility vehicles that shared the same chassis. With this added power, these pickups began to look a bit meaner. This Ranchero has the more aggressive appearance that went into the redesigned Fairlane/Torino. That means a wide, flat front end and a power bulge in the hood that's highlighted further by pinstriping. Plus, there are nice hints of added aggression in the Weld-style alloys and shining dual exhaust tips. There's even a custom graphics package running down the side that looks nice against the silver paint.
The interior continues this upgraded performance feel. The blue and yellow of the exterior graphics are continued inside with the custom blue and yellow door panels and rear panel. Plus, the color theme is continued with blue carpeting, and there's even a streak of yellow across the textured dash. And we know you immediately saw the upgrade to those bold blue FX racing seats. Plus, you'll notice some very handy features, like the auxiliary gauge trio and cold-blowing air conditioning.
Under the hood is Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. This hardy unit has been given performance upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers. This makes for a strong and powerful package that also makes a sweet tune out of the dual exhaust. Plus, with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front, this Ranchero is an easy driver.
You get plenty of V8 power in a distinctive package, and it's all for an affordable price. Don't miss this deal, call today!
