This 1974 Ford Bronco mixes the classic 4x4 style you love with proper 4x4 V8 power. The total package is the exact kind of look you want in a vintage convertible SUV.
The red paint gives this one a nice first impression. Plus, the white grille and white removable hardtop combine to give this a subtle two-one. The overall presentation is much more of an everyday finish, so you don't have to be nervous about enjoying this 4x4 to its fullest. There's some nice added style and substance from pieces like the upgraded side steps and the shine on the bumpers and wheels. But overall, there's just something quite cool about a very factory-looking machine with uncut fenders.
Because we love the look of these with the roof off, it's especially nice to see more red and white on the inside. So it has a nicely coordinated total look when you open this one up to the world. This is built to be durable and chic, so the seats are nicely done in a sturdy vinyl, and the floor is clean in a resilient liner paint. There are some nice added features, like the cup holders in-between the front buckets. And the black bikini top can keep the sunshine off your shoulders while coordinating with the black roll bar.
Under the hood is proper blue oval power. The 302 cubic-inch V8 was the largest displacement Ford put in these Broncos. This one has been upgraded for style with fined Ford valve covers and a shining air topper. More importantly, you have the added substance of an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and an aluminum radiator. It's a strong package that starts easily, runs nicely, and shifts cleanly with the three-speed automatic transmission. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case and BF Goodrich All-terrain T/As are great when the pavement ends. But with power steering on this Bronco, it feels easy in-town, too.
