1963 Ford Falcon Additional Info:
This is actually a 1963-1/2 due to Ford's addition of the Futura line. A rare car, it has 170 cubic inch Straight 6 engine, synchronized 4 speed on the floor, bucket seats, console, fender skirts, back up lights, chrome horn ring, white top, wire wheel covers. New tires, muffler and tailpipe, light switch, starter relay, 4 new shocks, radiator and hoses.
This is the first year Falcons were made in a sporty convertible. Futura's were the top trim level in Fords and had two horns, ashtrays, rear armrests, chrome side window moldings, big backup lights, chrome hood scoop, padded dash, radio and antenna, seat belts, rocker panel molding. There are seat covers on the front seats which were there when purchased. The light blue sections are fabric are not vinyl or naugahide, and they are showing separation from front to back. We located replacement fabric on the internet from a Northwest company, but did not pursue buying any because we did not intend to restore it.
I have owned this car for 10 years, prior to that it had been in California.
A fun car to drive and great for summer enjoyment.
