1966 Ford Galaxie 500 Additional Info:
This 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 is a cool V8 hardtop with some nice upgrades â€" and it's all offered for a nice price. This is the right generation to step up into a Galaxie. Ford's full-sized offering had an ideal look of muscle car aggression with executive-class sophistication. Up front the vertical stacked headlights make a bold statement, and an artfully crafted grille takes up all the space in-between. The long hardtop profile give plenty of time to develop the sporty crease that starts at the door and doesn't stop until it reaches the taillight. This one has also been given some nice investments. The wraparound bumpers look as shiny as the upgraded Centerline wheels. And there's even a nice pinstripe package that has a tasteful look of the darker blue over the factory-correct Silver Blue Metallic. This highlights the front end, nice crease in the profile, and announces it's from the Class of '66 on the rear. Inside the custom attitude continues with an upgrade to a full blue velour package on the seats, side panels, and even around the steering wheel. That makes it extra comfy for people to spread out over the two wide rows of seating. There are also some other nice upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and auxiliary gauges. And even with these upgrades, you still get that classic cruiser feeling. After all, the steering wheel still has the artful presentation, and beyond that is the dash panels that's wide enough to remind you the driver is always king. While this was born with a 289 motor, it's great to see a nice upgrade to 352 cubic-inches under the hood. In fact, this was a premium option in '66, so it's a thoughtful upgrade. The V8 looks nice with the bright valve covers and matching air topper. Plus, it has been given the right upgrades like an MSD ignition, upgraded plug wires, MSD Blaster 2 coil, and an aluminum radiator. The large motor inhales deeply from a four-barrel carburetor, and so it makes a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. And with power steering, power brakes (w/discs up front), and wide Cooper Cobra tires, this Galaxie 500 is a great cruiser. This is a value-priced classic with plenty of appeal. So don't miss your opportunity at this full-size hardtop with extra attitude. Call today!!!
