1950 Ford Ranger Additional Info:
This is an extremely rare 1950 Ford Ranger with the Marmon Herrington 4x4 conversion. It is a very complete truck with very few rust issues. The truck is equipped with the original Ford flathead V8 and 4 speed manual transmission. All Marmon Herrington 4x4 components and badges are intact. Only 54 of these Marmon Herrington 4x4 conversions were built spanning the years of 1949-1952. There are only about a dozen known to exist today with only a couple that are completely restored. The only history I have on the truck is that it spent most of its time in Kaysville Utah and we found it in Smithfield, Utah, so it has spent most of its time in Northern Utah. We found in the glove compartment an original medallion from the shop of Siebert from Toledo Ohio that did the panel to window van conversation. The original color looks to have been a light gray. Someone has painted it a 2 tone green along the way. The vin number on the firewall and Marmon Herrington door tag do match. The engine is not currently running, but does turn easily by hand. I have a clean, clear title in my name. Don’t miss your opportunity to acquire one of the rarest Marmon Herrington 4x4 trucks from the late 40s early 50s. If you have questions please email me.
