1947 FORD CONVERTIBLE

Story: You are looking at a 1947 Ford Deluxe Convertible. I have owned this car for over 15 years and it has been stored inside since I restored it. It was a clean western car to start with. I have spent as much time underneath this car as on top. It was a frame off restoration which took me 5 years.

Body: The body is original and is very clean. The inner fenders, runk, nd floor areas are excellent and have never been repaired. All the stainless steel has been polished and all chrome has been replaced or re-plated (bumpers, umper guards, mblems). New trunk handle and hood ornaments. Weather stripping is all new (fenders, op, oor seals, runk). New floor mats, arpet. The body shows very minor highway wear (a few paint chips), s the car was restored almost 15 years ago.

Frame and suspension: The driveline has been completely rebuilt from front to rear. Everything is new or has been rebuilt. Springs, ushings, ingpins, reaks, ody mounts, hock absorbers, xhaust system. You name it, rebuilt it.

Drive line: The engine is a 59A-B. Completely rebuilt. All new valves, alve seats, istons, ings, earings, askets, ifters, am, ater pumps, arburetor, istributor, enerator, oltage regulator, lutch pressure plate, efaced flywheel, hrow-out bearing, oses, reak-lines, mergency break cables and hardware, heel cylinders, ires, uel pump, olenoid, tarter, -volt battery, nd radiator. Drives like a new car. Starts every time, ven in the winter.

Interior: New LeBaron Bonneyinterior and convertible top. Look at pictures…it speaks for itself. Glass rear window. Power top. All new door handles, ash knobs, indow handles, ood grain dash, reak pedals, iring harness, oor panels, hrome windshield welting (on inside), nd window seals. If I didn’t replace it, t’s because I couldn’t find it.

Condition: This car is close to show condition. I built this car the way I wanted….to drive. Not to take to auto shows. I used it very rarely (once or twice a summer, f that). It is a show stopper. Every time I take it out, t draws a great deal of attention. Receives a lot of compliments.

I also have an original set of new Ford script white wall tires, ubcaps, nd beauty rings that can also be purchased with the car separately if buyer desires (or anyone else).
