1947 Ford Convertible Deluxe Additional Info:

A solid project car with a clean Kansas title. Most rust issues repaired with new metal. New front floors and tunnel and new metal in the trunk. Extra holes in firewall closed. New running boards but not installed. All bright trim included except the driver side rear fender and the cowl piece on the passenger side. Also has the trim that is below the grill on the splash apron. To date I have not located the splash apron. Bumpers are very nice.
All the hard to find convertible parts are there; the top front hold down bracket clamps, the sheet metal panels beside the rear seat, and the chrome glass surrounds on the windows. The top assembly works freely but does need the front and rear oak headers. The door and windshield garnish moldings are included. New hood hinge brackets but need the springs added. New trunk closer brackets. Has nice Mazda rear seat but no front seat(s).
Chassis is a fully boxed 47 frame with a Heidt's SuperRide IFS with new disc brakes and power steering rack and sway bar. Rear end is a Ford Explorer with disc brakes setup on a triangulated 4 bar system. Tubular cross member installed by Pete & Jakes. Engine and transmission mounts are set up for a Ford modular engine and transmission. Easy to change should you prefer a different drive train.
The car has had a lot of work done thus far and is a nice project, not a pile of rust and is nearly complete bodywise. Only selling due to realizing at my age I have too many projects and need to downsize. Car is located in Belton, MO, a suburb of Kansas City and available to view most any time. Send an email for additional pics or information, or my phone number. I have a lot more invested in this car than the Buy-it-Now price. Larry
