1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Additional Info:

For sale is my 1966 C-Code Mustang Coupe. I have been the most recent owner of the car for the last 7 years, during which time I took very good care of it, replacing many parts, restoring others, and ensuring the car was well maintained. I had the engine replaced at 29,000 miles with a new Jasper block, mild cam, and recently, a custom 4 barrel carburetor installed by Marty's Automotive in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The front suspension has been entirely replaced, and the rear relatively untouched; it grips really nicely to the road and doesn't perform anything like a vehicle built in the 60's would. Transmission is untouched. The exhaust starts with long tube headers and flows into custom cherry bomb mufflers that exit just behind the driver and passenger doors. The car sounds sweet!
The windows are all original and working. Though I removed the radio, the wiring remains in tact under the dash. The original radio turns on and lights up, but does not transmit. There are speakers installed in the rear deck.Since the day I bought the car back in 2009, I haven't touched the inside interior, though the seats need to reupholstered. CJ Pony sells complete kits for an affordable price to help remedy this. I have a half-completed list of all the parts I ordered and installed that I'm happy to provide, and will be reaching out to CJ Pony to see if they can provide the ones I missed based on my purchase history.
The listing also includes the original wheel caps, steering wheel assembly, center console, spare black center console (needs restoration) and original air cleaner.
I completely replaced the exterior lights with LED tail lights and turn signals and modern halogen headlamps, so it's easy to see on the road.I would say the paint still retains it's shine, but is chipped in a couple places. Nothing some spot treatment at the shop can't fix, but then, 90% of the car has original paint, and may benefit from a repaint.
I've been on long road trips with this car, some over 300 miles, and have loved driving every minute of them. It's a great car, and I'm sure you'll be happy with it, no matter what you do with it. You can view a video of the car running on a dynamometer here.

If you develop any questions, please don't hesitate to PM me. If you live in the NYC/NJ area and would like to arrange a time to view and test the car, please also let me know. I'd be happy to make an arrangement, so long as you're genuinely interested in making a purchase.
