1929 Ford Model A Roadster Additional Info:
Hello, Up for your consideration is my 1929 Model A. I'll do my best to describe this hot rod. Anu questions please feel free to contact me. After alot of time thought, time and effort. This car was just recently completed by myself and with some help of Bonnell's Rod Shop. High quality build everything is brand new.
Body:I started out with a brand new Brookville all steel 29 roadster body.
Frame:Custom perimeter frame and suspension was mocked up by a professional hot rod shop on a level frame bench. Using 2x4 DOM rectangle tubing. 1/8" wall thickness.
Suspension:Posies super glide leaf springs front and rear. Front wishbones. Custom rear ladder bars. Chrome Pro Series shocks front and rear. With panhard bar front and rear to keep suspension from swaying side to side. 116" wheel base. All drive line angles are correct. And suspension perfectly centered side to side and x pattern. It will go 100mph. no vibrations, no shakes, Does no pull.
Brakes:Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes front & rear. Rear cable operated emergency brake. 3/16 stainless brake line with rear proportioning valve. And residual pressure check valves front and rear. Corvette all aluminium master cylinder under floor with stainless steel sleeve. All braided stainless brake lines are DOT legal.
Cooling System:Edlebrock high flow water pump. 180 degree Thermostat. Walker Z series 4 core radiator
Fuel system:15 gallon RCI fuel cell. Holley Red electric pump. Aeromotive Low pressure fuel regulator and Fuel filter. Stainless 3/8" Fuel line & AN6 Braided Stainless fuel line.
Engine:GM performance 350 cubic inch. 290 Horsepower V8. Fuel is supplied by 3 speedway 9 super 7's. Idles of center carb. And progressive linkage engages 2 outer carbs. Lokar throttle cables and Transmission kick down cable. Exhaust exits into Sanderson ceramic coated lake headers with Exhaust turnouts. It has Car Chemistry baffles in exhaust. Edlebrock high flow water pump.
Transmission:B&M street & strip th350. With 12 inch B&M 2200 stall hole shot converter. Lokar shifter. Lokar emergency brake handle. Remote Trans cooler
Rear:Pete & Jakes narrowed 9 inch ford housing. 31 spline axles. John's Industries 9 inch third member with 3.00:1 gears and an all helical gears TruTrac Locker
Electrical:Ron Francis Bare Bones wiring harness, cables, switches. Classic Instruments bomber gauges with custom bezels. Tuff stuff 100 amp alternator. All Led Lights except headlights. Red Top Optima Battery in rear.
Paint:All paint and body work was done by a Professional. Bonnell's Rod Shop in Erie, PA. PPG Paint. Raptor bedliner on floors and Lizard Skin Ceramic coating under car. Pinstriping was done by Casey Kennell @ The Paint Chop in Somerset, PA
Chassis:The frame, Suspension and everything else that bolts to it was powdercoated Satin Black
Wheels & Tires:All wheels and tires are from Coker tire. 15x5 oe ford wheels up front and 15x7 oe ford wheels in rear. 165r15 front tires and 235x75x15 bridgestone silvertown radial tires.
Amsoil fluids throughout whole car in Radiator, Transmission and, Rear.
