This is a 1972 Ford F-250 Camper Special Ranger XLT. Has an 8' bed. Very solid original survivor. The truck has patina and is not perfect but has always been very reliable. It has a FE-390 engine, automatic trans. I don't believe that the engine burns any oil, however, the engine, trans, and power steering pump do have leaks. The truck drives fine and goes down the road without any wandering at all. I had the front end rebuilt. The tires are in very good condition, however, I don't know how old they are. They were on the truck when I bought it. I have owned the truck for about 2 1/2 years. The lights and turn signals work, but the turn signal cam won't self shut off the left turn signal. I bought the truck from the grandson of the man who originally bought the truck new off of the showroom floor. It has either factory AC, or the dealership installed it. It does not work, I have never taken it to have it repaired. It has two gas tanks, and a manual switch between the seat and the door. I am retired and disabled and can't work on the truck anymore, even the small, little things that need to be repaired. If you are looking for an original, unmolested truck, this is it. I don't know the history of the engine accept what previously described above. Itdoes have an Edelbrock manifold and either a Carter or Edelbrock AFB 4 barrel carburetor on it. It also has a small exhaust leak at the exhaust manifolds and probably need the gaskets to be replaced in the future. Also, I have the truck listed for sale in other publications and reserve the right to cancel this listing early should I sell it.Truck being sold as is where is.Please ask, ask, ask questions. Thank you.
God bless,
Brent
