1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Additional Info:

Im selling a 1966 Mustang Convertible. It is a #s matching 289 4V complete. When I got this car the story I got from the family was,The Grandma & Grandpa bought the car in there early 30's only drove it to & from Grocery store & bank & that the 64,017 miles are original. The car stayed parked in the Garage after the Grandfather Died & the little old Lady didn't want to drive it cause it was his. When she died 17 years later the grand kids didn't want it & thats how I ended up getting it. Just happen to be there at the right time.
Anyway the car is all Original untouched except me cleaning it. Does have rust on it in the Rear quarters,front fenders & some spots on the floor. The front & rear frame rails as well as the torque boxes are solid. The Cowl.Rockers, inner fenders & shock towers are solid. Interior nice just needs a professional cleaning. All glass & trim good, Power top works & even the Cigarette lighter works & that is new looking. The whole Dash is Very Nice. Also the Convertible top Boot is in New condition. Still has Original Carpet.The #'s matching 289 4V is complete & will run with new points. It cranks really good but I just can't get it to fire & was told points are probably shot.
