You are looking at a beautiful 1966 Mustang Fastback 2+2 that is a factory original Candy Apple Red on Red car (Candy Apple Red Exterior/Red Interior), 289 V8 ‘C’ code, Automatic transmission and Front Disc Brakes.

All Original or Ford NOS body panels. Front Fenders and Hood are Ford tooling NOS with original Ford stickers/labels remaining. Rear quarters have lower patch panels installed directly behind rear wheels.

This is a factory ‘C’ code car with VIN numbers correct on inner fender wells and has the original “Buck Tag” showing the original options, color and VIN number.

Car was stripped of all parts and recently repainted the original Candy Apple Red in Base coat/Clear coat in early January 2016. Car has just finished going through a restoration using new and/or reconditioned original parts.

The drivetrain is all original to the car with the exception of a few add-ons. All has been gone through and works great.

· Original “Rebuilt 2013” 289 V8 upgraded to 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor and Aluminum intake manifold

o Block Casting # - C5AE 6015E, date code ‘6A31’ Jan 31, 1966

o Crane Roller camshaft and roller rocker arms.

· Cobra (powered by Ford) aluminum valve covers

· New Aluminum 3 core radiator

· 289 exhaust manifolds

· C4 automatic transmission

· 8 inch rear end with 3.00 gears

Ford Front Disc brakes (not aftermarket) with dual bowl master cylinder installed for additional safety.

New front ball joints, lower control arms, shocks, sway bar links.

Glass is all good. Original Ford front and rear window moldings that have been polished.

AM Radio, radio is not connected.

New factory correct single exhaust, muffler and tailpipe.

New Red interior including –

· Standard seat upholstery front/rear

· Dash pad (Ford tooling from Dashes Direct)

· Door panels, armrests, door/window handles, window beltline (felt)

· Headliner

· Carpet including fold down seat carpet and rear fold down chrome trim

· Door sill plates

· Weather stripping around doors, roof rails, front & rear windows and trunk.

· New chrome instrument bezel.

New front and rear bumpers

New outside mirror and rearview mirror.

New exterior door handles and door locks.

New exterior emblems.

All gauges, headlights, taillights, interior courtesy lights and blinkers work.

Heater/fan works, new heater core

New exterior rocker panel molding

New rear taillight bezels

New gas tank and fuel sending unit

New parking lights/turn signals

New 15x6 American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels with new 215/15/60 tires.

I know I’m forgetting parts that were installed but you get the idea, it’s a very nice car that is meant to be driven and enjoyed!!
