1988 Ford Crown Victoria Additional Info:

1988 Crown Vic 22,000 ORGINALmiles, this car spent 94% of it's life in a garage in Ky. This is the classic story of the old lady who could no longer drive, but kept HER car garaged as a hope of some day being able to do soagain. Alas itwas not to be.
My friend got it from her estate & it sat for a yr in TN waiting to get a title.After some minor issues from sitting, which her son did not know enough to handle well I had it trucked up to me. I once had that model ( in a Mercury) I loved & drove for years. I fixed all the minor stuff, ( relays)& more, ( some exhaust)but the trans had been mistakenly replaced & was not adjusted/done right.
It is a AOD and was/isnot adjusted to shift correctly and will need adjusted/repaired before driving any distance . I cannot say it needs replaced, but only I know the cable and linkage is NOT adjusted right It drives, motor perfect, but does not shift right)
Then I had a double stoke, at 73, I recovered wel, but can no longer do a lot of the things as well, or quickly before & so it sat. Hence the car is for sale.... The car has no rust, but is not a showroom car as it sits, it needs cleaned up from setting out in TN & here in MI..vinyl top could use re-coating. It has all he bells & whistles...power every thing, seats, widows, mirrors, intermittent wipers,cruise, air, & the original CD style radio. There is a dent in the trunk. Located in Albion, MI 49224
