This all steel 1935 Ford Sedan was recently completed using a rust free body and all modern drive components. There are just under 500 total miles on the build and it's very nicely equipped and ready to cruise!
The car rides on a complete TCI chassis that utilizes a power Mustang II front end with coil over shocks on all 4 corners. The rear end is a 4 link setup that stabilizes a tried and true Currie 9". The frame itself is built from .75 x 2" steel and uses the TCI X-Brace setup that provides a lot more rigidity, and a straight pass through for the 2" aluminized exhaust system.
Bringing the Ford to a halt is a set of 11" Wilwood brakes with a remote mounted master cylinder and power booster. The wheels are 18" Coys all the way around wearing modern radial tires.
During the build, the body was taken down to metal and found to be extremely solid. The roof is all metal now, and the bumpers, window frames, and grill are all re-chromed originals. The body gaps are excellent and the body itself was properly long blocked, and is is very straight. The paint is a base/clear that was color sanded to a show quality finish. The is all new, as are the window felts and of course all the rubber seals.
Open the door and you'll find a comfortable, and roomy custom built interior done in Ultra Leather. The gauges are from Classic Instruments, and a Pioneer head unit bumps the tunes. On the floor you'll find a Lokar shifter and chrome parking brake. All of the wiring is new complete with modern fuses.
The engine is a PBM (World Products) 350 stroked to 383 CI. It uses Speed Pro Pistons, a Scat crank and rods, Edelbrock Aluminum heads, and an aluminum Edelbrock intake. The motor uses a Holley fuel injection system with an MSD Blaster ignition system. The motor exhales through a set of ceramic coated Hooker headers and a FlowMaster 2" exhaust system. A Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine system spins the accessories including a polished AC compressor, and modern style PS pump.
For the Ford enthusiast looking to cruise in style and comfort in a car that really turns heads, this freshly built '35 will provide enjoyment for years to come.
