1935 Ford 2 Door Slantback Std Additional Info:
Hi - I am listing this for a friend who has too many projects and is now concentrating on motorcycles. If you have any questions I will get answers directly from him. This car has been mechanically gone through and is a real hoot to drive. Engine is a 1936 LB block professionally rebuilt last fall and has about 50 miles on it. The work was done at GoDevil Garage and comes with the balance of the rebuilder's warranty. Same with the transmission, also rebuilt by GoDevil. New Walker brass radiator. New gas tank, gas lines, filler neck, brakes, kingpins, and exhaust system from end to end. Rebuilt steering box and all new steering linkage. New upholstery, 4 new Coker tires, new running boards and new top.
My friend is a very particular restorer and has done the rest of the work to excellent standards. The floor pan had to be hand fabricated and tailpan has been replaced as well, and they look great. Car needs a horn, headliner, floor coverings and interior panels installed. Needs gauges (speedo works), and three glass pieces have cracks. The paint is not perfect and the fenders have some paint loss but overall the car is solid. I think it actually looks better in person.
Car starts easily and runs like a top. This thing really is a dream to drive. You could very easily finish this car and either enjoy it as is or paint it pretty, it's up to you. Car has been in climate controlled storage since purchased. Thanks for looking!
