1969 Fiat 850 SPIDER 2 door spider Additional Info:
1969 Fiat 850 Spider in excellent near Haggerty condition #1. Fully restored to a supremely high quality & standard. Engine has several Abarth upgrades and all work was done professionally and fully documented with receipts, pictures etc. Too many upgrades to describe here. Car comes shod with freshly refinished silver Cromodora magnesium wheels with a Cromodora spare wheel in silver. Additionally, a full set of (4) Cromodora magnesium wheels refinished in matching Ferrari Fly yellow and ultra rare Cromodora polished stainless hub caps as a 2nd set for showing the car at car shows. All new tires on all wheels for a total of (9) ultra rare Cromodoras with tires. Two workshop manuals, Driver's handbook, sales brochures, and a few boxes of good condition spare parts, PPG touch up paint, various fluids, are all included. Entire restoration and ownership history & provenance is documented and comes with all the books and papers in a very large binder portfolio. Period correct chromed luggage rack, a very rare & hard to find accessory is also included but not fitted on car for reason of aesthetics & owners' preference. All the mechanicals that include the brakes, suspension bushings/shocks, steering etc. have all been gone through and restored as necessary. Relatively new Interstate battery. In brevity: There is not another Fiat 850 Spider in this condition anywhere. The car has the 903 cc, 3rd iteration engine and generates 70 HP because of the Abarth upgrades & a racing cam shaft. Has a 4 speed manual with reverse gear stick transmission. No oil leaks. All weather stripping, door seals, gaskets etc. are brand new. The car has a $6,000/ ultra high quality paint job (receipts & pics included). All the chrome silver trim is in excellent condition. New wiper arms in chromed silver were installed. Old pitted wiper arms included. Car has a brand new deep corn, Italian "Nardi" designer, mahagony wood, with ebony inlay steering wheel & a Bertone wooden gear shifter knob. Original gear knob is included. Period correct Coco mats. 2 Car covers included. Original Fiat jack, lug wrench & original Fiat Tool kit also included. Trunk in front has new OEM rubber mat. Driver's side door glass has a new window wind up regulator. Please review pictures and please request more information and more pictures on serious inquiries. Anyone can find a Ferrari in any model or a Fiat 124 or other model anytime. But never a Fiat 850 Spider that was designed by Giugiaro of Bertone studios. At least not in this condition. This is one under appreciated, grossly under valued Italian exotic sports car that is rare to impossible to come across in this condition and destined to appreciate in value. The soft top is serviceable and can benefit with an upgrade. This and the gauges have some cloudiness are the pending issues slated for upgrading. Replacement, clear face model correct gauges have already been purchased and accompany the sale. The car is being offered for sale "as is" from a private collection but will not be relisted once this listing expires. Shipping cost and Paypal fees for Buyer's account. A vehicle Inspection and test drive or PPI (pre purchase inspection), is certainly encouraged. The car runs well and engine pulls strong. Car has a very smooth, comfortable ride and is a sheer joy to drive with the soft top down. Responsive manual steering with good "road feel and feedback". As cute as a button and garners immense positive admiration from many. Once again the condition of the car speaks for itself in the pictures and more so in person. Will consider selling to international interested parties and will assist to ship. Happy bidding.
