I have had the car for approximately four years only to car shows and car cruises, (lots of interest at the shows), approximately 5000 miles by me total if that. no parking brake, speedometer does not work odometer does not work, have replacement speedo and odometer have not installed. all other gauges do work. all lights do work. No air conditioning no heater. The history as what I know of this car was originally built in Florida the engine built by Dvorak Machine car sold to the gentleman in Pennsylvania for two years in his show room, and I bought it from him. I cannot verify that this is an original Max wedge Polara. On the question of this being an authorized Dan Davork build as per the gentleman I bought it from. One of Davork's sticker in under the hood, not positive proof. I called and talked to Dan about this unit, the best that was determined is that this is possible one of his but no paper proof could be established. Being so curious about that and also wanting to detail out the engine compartment I pull the engine and transmission stripped the engine totally. Observing of what was on the inside. rods balanced, forged crank, windscreen, deepen oil pa, oil pan plate and other observations point to this very possible being a Dvorak build. My guess this car was built to be a nice Maxwedge clone to compete in nostalgia drag classes and it is.
