1947 DESOTO CUSTOM SEDAN

1947 DeSoto Additional Info:

1947 DeSoto Custom sedan. This is a very nice restorable and complete car. It's all there, straight, and rust free. Most of the chrome work, including the grille, is in excellent shape for being 70 years old! I did have her running a couple of years ago, but haven't done much with it since. Too little time and too many other projects, so this old DeSoto needs to go to a new home.

This is a great restorable car. The interior is mostly original and in good condition for it's age. All glass is there and intact. It did run good the last time I ran it, however, it would need a tune up. The brake system needs to be redone as the pedal goes to the floor; finding brake parts for these cars is not a problem at all as NAPA can get most of the parts.

1946-48 DeSoto's are getting hard to come by, especially rust free and straight. This is a good west coast car that has been here almost all of it's life, from what I can tell. This car is for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell locally.
