You are bidding on a 1970 Citroen ID21F. This is the station wagon or break model.
The engine starts right up and runs, though it is tired. The car has a 5 speed gearbox, but it has a broken tooth on second gear. The chassis is essentially sound. It has surface rust and a couple of minor perforations in the rear. The body panels are restorable, but suffer from life near the ocean. This is a car which could be restored, but if one were not too particular, driven as is for a while. To be an operational car it would need tires, battery, starter motor, fuel tank refurbishment, and a major service.
The wagon versions are rare; for each wagon probably 10 sedans were produced. The rear opens to allow floor to ceiling headroom, and when the seats are folded the flat bed is 7 feet long. The wagons are rated at 3/4 ton capacity and with the self leveling suspension always ride in the center of their travel range, irrespective of load or load placement.
The cars are revered in Europe, and thus there is good parts availability in the aftermarket, everything from mechanical parts to interior kits.
While this is definitely a project car, it is complete without any missing parts. Additional and more specific photos are available.
(The hood is not completely closed in the front end photo. )
