This 1937 Chrysler Imperial is powered by its original 299 CID, in-line 8-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission with working automatic overdrive. It has 110 horsepower and has dual carburation and aluminum heads. This Imperial is a rare surviving example of the design philosophies and high level craftsmanship of a less complicated time.
This 1937 Imperial is finished in stunning deep burgundy exterior over Oxblood red interior. SELLERS DISCLOSURE: Cream soft top has been replaced but doesn't have the maroon piping on the new top as it is shown in the photos. Turn signal lights have been installed on the car. The car has no seat belts. Restoration was done at a decade ago. Major mechanical work has been done in October which include installation of used transmission, rebuilt drive shaft, rebuilt starter and installation of rebuilt steering box. There were only 325 of these built and very few of those remain.
