1937 Chrysler Imperial 1937 Chrysler Imperial Airflow, Pre-War Sedan, Restored Additional Info:
1937 Chrysler Imperial Airflow SedanRestored - C17S ModelThis Pre-War 1937 Chrysler Imperial Sedan was restored in Dove Grey and with a complete custom correct style interior that not only looks but feels amazing and comfortable. She has her original Inline 8 Cyl Engine with a Manual Transmission and factory Overdrive. The body is straight, the overall look and feel is quality with most of the Chrome redone. The rear hatch latches and the side skirt emblems have not been re-chromed. The Electrical is her correct 6V. The Radiator is a correct non pressurized. The 4 main tires are new, the spare is a vintage original. The exhaust is new and correct. Upgrades are an electric fuel pump with a regulator giving the correct 3-4 pounds of pressure. Turn signals have been added inside the headlight bulbs. Original Trim Tag on the inner fender and has her working correct push button electric choke. This is a very solid car that has been well maintained but yet driven and enjoyed. The underbody is outstanding as you can see in the pictures and the springs even have the correct metal wrap. There are only two items that I found as this car has sat more than has been driven the past few years. In the video you can hear the engine sputter in the beginning, this from a cold start and clears up when she warms up as you can tell towards the end of the video, could use a Carburator Rebuild to make perfect. The second thing is the brakes are a little spongy but they do pump up and work, but the front passenger brake cylinder looks like it will need to be replaced as its starting to leak. Please ask any questions, she has been serviced and driven and overall is way better than average.
